Traffic stop leads to drug arrests

From Jackson County Sheriff’s Office

On Sunday, May 1, 2016 the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Drug Task Force conducted a joint investigation with the Calhoun Liberty Drug Task Force.

A Probable cause traffic stop was conducted on a 1999 Buick, in the Malone Florida area, for a traffic infraction. A free air sniff was conducted of the exterior of the vehicle by K-9 “Flash” of the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office, with a positive alert.

As a result the following person(s) were arrested:

Joshua Clay Williams, white male, 35, Clarksville, Florida. Charges: possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell possession of controlled substance (Hydrocodone) possession of drug paraphernalia

Arion Keith Burke, white male, 49 Blountstown, Florida. CHARGES: possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sheriff Lou Roberts and the Jackson County Drug Task Force are committed to continuing to rid our community of any and all dangerous drugs and will continue to target and actively pursue anyone   who chooses to manufacture, deliver, transport, distribute, and possess illegal narcotics in our Community.
