From Marianna Police Department
The Marianna Police Department arrested Brandon Robert Harris on May 24, 2016 on an outstanding warrant for the Burglary of an Occupied Dwelling which occurred on May 21, 2016. It is alleged that on Saturday May 21 Harris forcefully and unlawfully entered the occupied home of his ex-girlfriend and once inside the residence Harris removed a cell phone that belonged to a guest of the residence. It is believed that Harris returned to the residence a second time after his ex-girlfriend and her guests had left the residence. The second time entry was made into the residence, a washing machine which Harris had advised during the first incident was his was missing from the residence and a drain in the bathroom had been clogged and the faucets were left running which flooded portions of the house causing significant damage to several areas in the residence. On 05/24/2016, Officers with the Marianna Police Department placed Harris under arrest without incident. Harris has been booked into the Jackson County Correctional Facility where he will await first appearance.
