From Jackson County Sheriff’s Department
On 07-08-2016, Jackson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Walmart for a shoplifting complaint. Officers made contact with suspect, Joshua Wright. During the investigation it was discovered that Wright also had a Warrant out of Washington County. During the arrest of Wright, officers found a prescription of Morphine that did not belong to him, medical syringes, another Controlled substance, and a Driver’s License belonging to another person on his person.
Wright was charged with theft shoplifting, possession of a stolen driver’s license, possession of narcotic equipment, and possession of controlled substance. He was placed in the Jackson County Correctional Facility to await 1st Appearance.
Arrested: Joshua Wright, 35 years of age
Charges: narcotics equipment possession, possession of controlled substance, petit theft, possession of stolen driver’s license
